There are three things that we need to start collecting money for:
1. USARS cards: It is time to renew our USARS cards and we need everybody to bring their checks. You can fill out an application and send it directly, but the club will send in the paperwork for you if you bring a check to Sonny. The licences are $45 for the year. If you bring a check to Sonny, make the check payable to Texas Speed Club, and if you send it in on your own make it to USARS
2. The DFW meet is around the corner and we need to start collecting the $25 entry fee for those who are going.
3. Finally, we need all the Austin skaters to pitch in to cover the cost of coating the floor. We are going to coat the floor with plastic now and again before our meet. A tight floor is something that will benefit everyone (beginners to experts, speed skaters, derby, quads and inlines). We are asking everyone to help out with the cost (and the labor when that comes around). The cost of the materials is going to be $600. So if we can get 60 people to give $10/each, we will have it covered.
